Well summer is almost over :o( I can't believe it! I'm just in Orlando Florida right now trying to soak up some last minute sun rays. I just wanted to touch base regarding this years lessons. I plan on starting next week after the September long weekend. Lesson days/times are to be the same as last year but I will also contact you regarding final confirmation.

Ready or not...
Hello Parents,
Ready or not here recital comes! My annual spring recital will be held this Saturday at 10 am at Cardel theater in Quarry Park. I know it will be a bit of a travel for most of my students. I appreciate all that are able to make it out. It will be a great experience for all my students to play in a recital hall. Due to the time limit however we will be unable to enjoy treats afterwards. I will have a little reward for all my students but piano store will be on the last lesson of the year in the comfort of your homes. Next week I will have summaries available of how many lessons each student has had and at that time we can finalize any payments or refunds. It is my goal and hope each year that I teach 32 lessons. Due to holidays, sicknesses, and other commitments this sometimes is not the case. I will continue to teach in June in hopes to meet this lesson quota. If also at this time you can let me know registration for next year. I hope to see everyone back and really hope to keep everyone at the same scheduled time. As my studio grows my availability and flexibility heads in the opposite direction. I do of course give priority to my students already in my teaching roster but will need confirmation as soon as possible to know if I can give room to any new potential students. I look forward to the spring recital as everyone has worked so hard this year and has come so far in the past 10 months. It's no easy feat to master the piano and it is almost harder on the parents so thanks to you also for sticking in there with your kids on the days when practicing is the last thing they want to do. I appreciate being a part of your family lives and look forward to celebrating with you all this weekend.

recital...say when!

So I am planning on having this years spring recital in June at the gorgeous Cardel Theather in quarry park. It's a beautiful venue that is free to book! The only problem is the calendar is booked on June 11th. The day I planned on having my spring recital.....
So, here are a few other date options and I know it's 4 months away but if I can get an idea of what works best for everyone then that'd be great!
Saturday June 4th 10:00 am
Monday June 13th 6:30 pm
Wednesday June 15th 6:30 pm
The recital should be all said and done in about an hr and a half. Please let me know what does and doesn't work with you with these dates.

Happy New Year!
I hope everyone had a great holidays! I can't believe it's already come to a close. Truly, I can't believe it. I thought lessons didn't start til next week until I was checking my calendar yesterday to find out I scheduled lessons to resume this week to fit in all lessons required. So I just wanted to sent out notification and ask that all parents can confirm they are home and able to start back lessons up this week. If you can send a reply email confirming your ready to start that'd be great. Just so I'm not a surprise on your doorstep this week :o)

Only one week left til lessons! I'm excited to start teaching again!! I'm maybe more excited to get the schedule finalized though. It's been one fun game of musical chairs with everyones lesson times. I believe the schedule I have laid out is the final one though.
